SMART BADGE TECHNOLOGY FOR VISITORS

Smart badge technology

What's a smart badge?

In short: a smart badge is an intelligent visitor badge. It enables visitors and exhibitors to exchange contact data and information digitally.

About Touch & Collect

As soon as you touch the reader of an exhibitor with your Smart-Badge, you collect digital information. At the end of your visit, you will receive an e-mail from Easyfairs. This contains your trade fair summary: a list of all exhibitors whose readers you have touched. All the data that these exhibitors have uploaded in their online profile can now be easily accessed via individual links.
By touching the reader, you simultaneously inform the exhibitor concerned that you are interested in his products and that he is allowed to contact you.
There is a digital exchange of business cards.

Give your contact details during the visitor registration process. Pay particular attention to the correct entry of your e-mail address. This is the basic prerequisite for us to be able to send you detailed information on “your” exhibitors at the end of the trade fair day.

  1. With the help of your Smart-Badge you can easily and digitally collect information from all exhibitors. You will have access to product descriptions, pictures, videos or even job offers. There is no need to collect countless brochures and catalogues. You can also share all the information digitally with colleagues afterwards.
  2. If an exhibitor is not busy at the stand or with another visitor, you had to pass by again in the past. Thanks to the smart badge technology, you can still obtain information from the exhibitor directly – simply by touching the reader.
  3. At the end of your trade fair day, you will receive an e-mail from Easyfairs. This contains a list of all exhibitors where you touched the reader. This will automatically provide you with a complete summary of your trade fair day – including all detailed information on each exhibitor.

Your personal data that you provide during registration will not be passed on by Easyfairs. We only use this information to inform you about current and possibly future events of our own.
This data will only be transmitted to exhibitors if you touch the exhibitor’s reader with your visitor pass or have registered via an exhibitor’s invitation code or link. This indicates to us and the exhibitor that you are interested in the exhibitor receiving your contact details. If you do not wish this, please do not touch a reader with your ID card or use one of the opt-out options afterwards.
Easyfairs takes the protection of your personal data very seriously. For further details please take a look at our Privacy Policy and our General Terms and Conditions.
