ThermoKraftline & ThermoPapline
In order for the fresh packs to be remain cost-effective, this type of packaging is increasingly being mass produced. Pure plastic film can never achieve the desired “artisanal” look, which is why some paper us used. Minimal adaptation is required to process our film system on existing thermoforming packaging machines. It is important that the high-barrier paper laminate bottom web is only slightly formed to allow the correct positioning of the product. The bottom web is bonded with the antifog top film before protective gas is introduced. No smearing can occur to ruin presentation. Consumers prefer «artisanal» presentation because they can associate with a «natural» look (corner store effect) and can see for themselves that the packaging contains no synthetic materials.

«Turned» vacuum skin packaging
Traditional skin packaging (darfresh, etc.) has indisputable advantages, i.e. excellent presentation and long shelf-life of products in virtually wrinkle-free plastic vacuum packaging. The downside is the high cost of packaging. Our system consists of stiff, printable top film; with backing made of transparent, extremely shrinkable multi-layer laminate that will become virtually wrinkle-free if heated briefly. The normal thermoforming machines can be used, no additional investment are necessary. Film remains reshrinkable due to low forming temperature. Reshrinking is further assisted by passage through hot-air tunnel or quick plunge into hot water, if necessary. This eliminates virtually all remaining wrinkles. We aim to substitute an expensive existing solution. As presentation does not compare with Darfresh packaging, packagers will need to be somewhat flexible. However, the costs are significantly lower.

SkinCart - Pioneers in packaging innovation!
Formable cardboard bottomweb The important news is also the replacement of up to 85% of the plastic by renewable raw materials! We developed a film family which can be processed on the current skin packaging machines. The machine settings may need to be modified. This packaging is particularly suitable for products with a tendency to lose liquid. The presentation of the product is therefore clean and accurate. We are already moving into the future, as up to 85% of our entire packaging is recyclable and therefore environmentally friendly.

ThermoCart - our sustainable packaging innovation!
Gasproof easily formable cardboard tray Idea This MAP pack is about replacing up to 85% of the plastic by renewable raw material. Packaging machinery With only minimal adjustments to the thermoforming tools the same packaging machines as for APET/PE or PVC/PE can be used. As usual, sliced products (sausages, air-cured ham, cheese and smoked salmon) are placed into the thermoformed tray, protective gas is injected and they are sealed with ANTIFOG-topweb films . Arguments The presentation is excellent both ecologically and technically and the recycling costs of ThermoCart are extremely low in comparison to conventional multilayer films .

Mono-films
Our films, specially developed for the circular economy, are particularly convincing due to the following properties: - high transparency and strength - excellent formability - very good printability The mono films meet the common requirements for recyclability of plastics. Whether for vacuum or MAP packaging, mono films are a promising material for the future, and we already have the right solution for you.
